I have had the pleasure to be treated by Carolina in two different occasions. Very different problems as well. One was postural and the root was stress, with pain on my neck and shoulder. The other time the pain came straight after doing the wrong movement at the gym lifting weights, compromising glute muscles, and sacro lumbar area. Both times she worked with me asking me questions to get to the root of the problem, doing tests as well, and offering pain release pressure when she found the right points. She has also treated my husband for a more chronic problem in his back, and he is already feeling the results of her work. She is very knowledgeable, professional, passionate about what she does and very dedicated. If you want to get a more comprehensive and holistic view of your problem, find out the whys and get advice on how to get better she is your person. I 100% recommend her services. I have been using The Lady Basset Centre for a few years now and cannot rate Sonia highly enough. She is so warm and friendly, she goes through exactly what your concerns and issues are, giving you practical exercises to do but has also relieved immediate discomfort for me then and there. I have only had to see her a few times over the years when issues have cropped up with my neck and back. More recently Sonia did a postnatal check for me, which was brilliant as she reviewed my current ability and gave me specific exercises to strengthen my core again, tailored to me. It was so helpful making sure I was ready to start exercising again and focusing on weaker areas.

We have been working with Pat, since my mum returned home from hospital a month ago. Having had a prognosis that in all likelihood my mum will not walk again. In these past 4 weeks, Pat has engineered some simple changes that have enabled my mum to stand unaided and with a new aim of her walking again within the next few weeks. The Lady Basset Physiotherapy Centre’s help, along with Pat’s hard work and endeavours have begun to transform our family’s bleak outlook for my mum’s quality of life into a possibility of her rightly enjoying what the future brings.

I have recently visited Lady Bassett Physiotherapy for appointments with Carolina. Her intuitive and holistic approach to rehabilitation and long term recovery is fascinating and I am finding the process to be incredibly beneficial and informative.

There are 2 therapists here - one man and one woman. I saw the woman. She asks lots of questions and is very thorough but is also friendly. She suggests solutions which include exercises and explains things well. She is also an excellent masseuse including (I think) in deep tissue massage. Highly recommend her.

I have been receiving treatment from the Lady Basset Physiotherapy Centre for many years. I have been regularly having appointments with Sonia and she has been very helpful. She is very “hands on” which is what I need. Of course she also gives advice and provides exercises for me to do at home. She is a very friendly, helpful person who immediately puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend her.
