Information for WPA Patients

The LBPC is a trusted partner of WPA health insurance.

WPA private health insurance is designed to cover the cost of private medical treatment for acute conditions. This refers to conditions or injuries that are fairly new, rather than problems that you’ve had for a long time.

To ensure you are able to make the most of your WPA insurance policy, don’t delay your treatment or they may not agree to cover the cost of your physiotherapy appointments.

How to Book Your Appointment at THE LBPC Using WPA Health Insurance

Step 1: Verify Your Coverage

Contact WPA to confirm that your policy covers physiotherapy treatment.

Request your WPA membership number, authorisation code, the number of approved sessions, and details about any policy excess you may need to pay.

Step 2: Check If You Need a GP Referral

Some WPA policies require a GP referral before physiotherapy can be authorised. This referral can be obtained from an NHS or private GP.

If you're on a cash plan, you may be able to self-refer for up to four sessions without a GP referral. If unsure, contact WPA to confirm your policy details.

Step 3: Provide Our Clinic Details

WPA requires registration codes for individual physiotherapists. Please contact our reception team at 01209 698353 or email info@ladybasset.co.uk, and we will provide you with the necessary details to give to WPA.

Step 4: Contact WPA for Authorisation

Before your appointment, contact WPA to arrange treatment authorisation. You will need to provide the details you received from LBPC.

Step 5: Book Your Appointment

Schedule your appointment by calling 01209 698353 or emailing info@ladybasset.co.uk.

Provide us with your WPA authorisation code and the number of approved sessions.
