About The LBPC

At The Lady Basset Physiotherapy Centre, we believe recovery is about far more than simply reducing pain. It’s about helping people move with confidence again, regain independence, and return to the life they enjoy.

Every person’s story is different, which is why our care is always tailored to you, your goals, lifestyle, and pace of recovery. We take time to understand not only where the pain is, but why it may have developed in the first place.

Our philosophy is built around three simple principles:

Calm things down - Build things back up - Maintain long-term wellbeing

Through hands-on treatment, movement assessment, and supportive guidance, we help you move through recovery in a way that feels clear, achievable, and reassuring.

Our Recovery Pathway

1

Reach Out

Pain and stiffness can gradually begin to affect everyday life; walking the dog, gardening, getting comfortable in bed, keeping active, or simply moving with confidence.

Many of our patients come to us after trying other approaches that only offered temporary relief. The good news is that you don’t have to work it out alone.

At LBPC, we’ve helped people through a wide range of injuries, conditions, and long-standing pain problems. Whatever stage you’re at, we’re here to listen, support you, and help you take the next step towards feeling better.

2

Be Heard

Your first appointment is about understanding you.

We take time to listen to your story, how pain is affecting your daily life, and what you want to return to doing. Whether your goal is walking comfortably, staying active with grandchildren, returning to sport, or simply feeling more confident in your movement — your recovery starts there.

Through conversation, movement assessment, and holistic evaluation, we look beyond symptoms to understand what may truly be contributing to your pain.

3

Find Relief

The first stage of treatment focuses on helping your body feel safer, calmer, and more comfortable. Using hands-on therapy and targeted treatment techniques, we work to ease pain, reduce tension and irritation, calm sensitive areas, and improve movement so recovery can begin naturally.

Our approach is simple and effective, focused on evidence-based treatment that supports real recovery without unnecessary gadgets or overly complicated approaches.

As symptoms begin to settle, your body is better able to move freely, heal confidently, and gradually rebuild trust in movement again.

4

Restore Movement

As pain improves, the focus shifts towards rebuilding strength, mobility, balance, and confidence in movement.

We use simple, practical exercises and strategies tailored to your lifestyle and goals, helping you move better without feeling overwhelmed.

This stage is about helping your body become stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for everyday life. Whether that means work, hobbies, exercise, or simply feeling more capable day to day.

5

Live Well

Recovery doesn’t stop once pain begins to improve.

We help you stay well through ongoing guidance around movement, pacing, sleep, lifestyle habits, and long-term self-management strategies designed to reduce flare-ups and support lasting independence.

For some patients, occasional maintenance treatment or check-ins can also help keep progress on track and support continued confidence in movement and activity.

Our goal is not simply short-term relief. It’s helping you stay active, capable, and well for the long term.

At the Lady Basset Physiotherapy Centre we strongly believe that recovery works best when it feels supportive, structured, and realistic.

That’s why every patient at LBPC is guided through our personalised Five-Step Recovery Pathway. It is designed to ease pain, restore confidence in movement, and support long-term wellbeing.

We don’t just chase symptoms, through conversation, assessment, and holistic treatment, we work to understand what’s truly driving your pain so we can create a treatment plan that’s built around you and your goals.
